Driving Success: How Fetch Helped Adam Build a Flexible and Rewarding  Business

Adam’s Journey to Fetch

Like many drivers, Adam explored different delivery driving options in Philadelphia. But he quickly discovered that Fetch was the best fit based on a few key factors: flexible scheduling, pay structure, and delivery volume. For Adam, each of these set Fetch apart from the competition.

The delivery service space has become increasingly crowded, which is no surprise given the increasing demand for online shopping. So Adam definitely had choices. However, he found Fetch’s incentive structure a major factor in his decision. “Fetch offers better options in terms of scheduling and the volume of delivery as it relates to pay,” Adam explained. “Other options out there require more driving with higher delivery volumes but with fewer incentives. And incentives are a big thing, as you have to consider the impact to your personal vehicle — maintenance, gas, and general wear and tear.”

Even better, the sign-up process was incredibly straightforward.

Challenges and Solutions

Delivery

Some of the biggest hurdles Adam faced previously with on-demand delivery were a lack of predictability and structure, which created tension in trying to maintain a healthy work-life balance. With Fetch, Adam doesn’t have to navigate uncertainty because he can select the delivery window he wants to work. He values knowing his schedule in advance, which allows him to manage his time effectively.

Because he now has experience with the Fetch delivery locations, he’s become adept at knowing how long it will take him to complete his jobs. “The process has become second nature,” said Adam. “I scan the packages, get them in my vehicle, and get on my way. Unless there’s some big traffic delay, I’m usually done right on time.”

In fact, the biggest challenge he initially encountered was understanding the layout of buildings — and from an industry perspective, that’s a common hurdle!

Fetch Makes It Easy to Make Money

However, Fetch helps overcome that challenge by using an app that gives drivers important, easy-to-access information. “The app is more or less where you do everything,” said Adam. “From selecting packages and seeing what you’ll be paid to getting help from support and accessing building layouts, the app has it all. It’s real simple.”

As a result, Adam’s experience with Fetch has been overwhelmingly positive. One of the standout features for Adam is the responsiveness of Fetch’s support team. “If you can’t deliver a package, support makes it easy to know how to handle certain situations,” Adam explained. This level of assistance ensures that drivers are never left without a solution when facing an issue on the job.

Fetch’s operational policies have also played a role in improving Adam’s day-to-day work. He’s noticed that processes have become more structured and efficient as the company has grown. While he enjoys a relaxed work environment, he also appreciates the company’s commitment to tightening up operations to ensure consistency and reliability for its delivery partners.

Pride in a Job Well Done

For Adam, professionalism is a priority when making deliveries. He understands that being courteous, respectful, and thoughtful goes a long way toward building trust with residents.

“I try to be considerate, leave packages right in front of a resident’s door, and take decent pictures of the delivery,” added Adam. “And if I have a chance to meet the resident when dropping off a package or getting a signature, I offer a pleasant greeting.”

Adam’s approach has not gone unnoticed. Recently, one resident shared that they left him a positive review, reinforcing the value of his commitment to excellent service.

Fetch’s emphasis on ensuring delivery partners are well-prepared and professional when working on client properties has helped shorten the delivery partner learning curve and contributed to Adam’s positive experience. “Policies and regulations are clearly posted in the warehouse, and managers are usually available to assist,” said Adam. “The onboarding process is all in the app, making it easy for new drivers to familiarize themselves with the job expectations.”

Personal Benefits

One of the biggest advantages of working with Fetch for Adam is the flexibility it offers. His ability to manage his schedule allows him to balance work with personal commitments while also working toward his financial goals. “I have always had an entrepreneurial mindset, holding a CDL license for just shy of a decade and owning a company,” Adam shared. “I partner with Fetch because it allows me the flexibility to manage my time. I’m able to apply my earnings toward future goals, and that’s a major driving point.”

Adam still finds Fetch to be one of the best delivery partner opportunities available. Recently, he qualified for a new role as a Delivery Partner XL, which designates him as a driver who can handle larger deliveries, like furniture or large televisions, and enables him to potentially earn more due to the increased size and complexity of the items being delivered. This has motivated him to work toward securing a cargo van to expand his delivery capabilities.

Just Do It

Adam has simple advice for those considering becoming a Fetch delivery partner: “Go for it! It’s not a difficult job. The app is ‘dummy-proof’ and straightforward. It’s a green light for me. If you need help, you ask.”

He emphasizes that Fetch provides all the necessary tools for success, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking for flexible and reliable work.

Adam’s future looks bright, and with Fetch’s support and clear vision, he is excited about the possibilities ahead.
