Located in the heart of the Mile High City, the Birge & Held managed community, Ventana at Colorado Station, takes pride in their resident experience so when package management started to pull on-site teams away from other aspects of the community, they introduced fetch to bring some time back into their on-site teams’ days.

The burden of package management struck nationwide when online ordering became an everyday standard for most residents in multifamily, and The Ventana was no different.  

Since this Birge and Held managed community has partnered with fetch, we’ve delivered 7,837 packages, ultimately saving their team a total of 653 hours! 

Because the volume of packages that were being delivered to the community was so heavy, packages were being misplaced during delivery or left outside of package lockers. The on-site team found themselves spending at least 3 hours a day dealing with package management. When lockers couldn’t stand up to the sheer package volume that came with this year’s pandemic, The Ventana knew it was time to take action and find the right package solution. 

Property manager Amy Riedel discovered fetch through a regional manager at Birge and Held, and knew that because fetch removes packages entirely from the community, there would be on-site team time savings, and residents would receive a premium direct-to-door service. As part of fetch’s offering, delivery windows run past the typical operation times of major carriers and Riedel goes on to say, “the residents love that fetch has a later than 5pm delivery time.”

Riedel explains that the fetch team has gone above and beyond when it came down to  resident adoption and on-site team training.. “Our rep is amazing and very helpful. He has been helpful with still making sure we have all the documents we need to inform residents,” Riedel says. 

When it comes to package management with fetch, The Ventana on-site teams are now stress-free, and have been able to spend more time focusing on leasing and other aspects of the community.
